About Andre & Munditos
architect, immigrant, marathon runner, garden-keeper, and proud dog mom to Paco, between many other things…
When I moved from Argentina to New York City in 2019, I carried big dreams with me. I imagined myself diving straight into the architecture world here, but the reality was a lot harder. The market was competitive, the opportunities felt out of reach, and after a while, I started questioning if I even belonged in this career. I was sending out endless applications, sitting through interviews that went nowhere, and wondering if all the years of study and sacrifice were going to be enough.
Somewhere in the middle of all that doubt, I found comfort in drawing again. But this time, not in the traditional way—I stumbled into Procreate. At first, it was just a creative outlet. Then it became my secret weapon. Suddenly, my sketches looked sharper, faster, and more professional. I realized that in a world where architects are expected to do everything, these digital tools gave me the edge I needed to finally land the opportunities I had been chasing.
That’s where Munditos comes in. The word means “small worlds” in Spanish, and to me, it perfectly describes what architecture feels like: each of us lives inside our own little world of ideas, workflows, and experiences. With Munditos, I want to bring those worlds together—to create a space where we can share tools, learn from each other, and remind ourselves that we don’t have to figure it all out alone.
Outside of architecture, my world is made of smaller joys: running marathons (and all the miles of training that come with them), tending to my vegetable garden, enjoying a good mocktail with my husband after a long day, and of course, plenty of adventures with Paco.
Munditos is more than toolkits—it’s a piece of my journey, and an invitation for you to find a little more ease, confidence, and joy in yours.
